Austria🇦🇹 / Schloss Eggenberg (Schloss Eggenberg)
March 11, 2025

Last summer while driving through the Austrian Alps I came across a wonderful restaurant that served excellent charcoal-grilled fish, and it was this beer that I enjoyed there.
Schloss Eggenberg is a little-known beer in Austria, but it is available at major supermarkets. It has a fruity and refreshing taste, and goes perfectly with charcoal-grilled fish! It has a low alcohol content, so it's the perfect drink to refresh yourself.
Also, the transparency of the lake near the shop was truly beautiful, and I was moved by the beauty of nature. It was a wonderful time filled with the charm of Austria.

Slovenia🇸🇮/Union
March 8, 2025

Last summer, on the way to Lake Bled in Slovenia, I stopped at a seafood restaurant and tried Union, a beer that represents Slovenia..
Union is a traditional Slovenian beer brand established in 1864, and is popular both domestically and abroad. It was refreshing and easy to drink, with a perfect balance of robust malt flavor and light bitterness.
In Slovenia, which is close to Italy, it goes great with pizza and crispy fried calamari (squid)! Enjoying a cold lager during the trip was a luxurious summer moment.
Serbia🇷🇸/ LAV
February 22, 2025

My husband and daughter went on a trip to Serbia recently, and the souvenir they brought back was LAV, a beer that represents Serbia.
The name "LAV" means "lion" in Serbian. As the name suggests, it has a strong flavor. LAV has been widely loved in Serbia since its founding in 1864, but since 2003 it has been part of the Carlsberg Group.
This beer has a light taste and a good balance of the malty aroma and slight bitterness. It is refreshing and goes down smoothly, so it is perfect for the hot season. I would like to try it with some traditional Serbian food someday.
By the way, what kind of things did father and daughter talk about on their trip together?
I didn't ask, but I was a bit worried about my mother.
Albania 🇦🇱 / Korça
February 16, 2025

Recently, a friend of mine who lives in Europe went to Albania, a country in southeastern Europe, and brought back some beer as a souvenir. The beer is called "Korça."
As the name suggests, this is a lager brewed in the Korçë region of Albania. It was a light and very easy-to-drink beer. It had a mild bitterness, and was fruity and refreshing. It was a bright gold in color, and had an overall refreshing impression. It also had a low alcohol content of 4%, and the can was cute, so it would make a great souvenir for women!
The brewery that makes this beer, Korça Brewery, was founded in the 1970s and is one of the oldest breweries in Albania. It is still loved today as one of Albania's most representative beers.
To be honest, the hop flavor is a little weak for me, but I think it's perfect to enjoy with a meal!
Anyway, my friends have already started to think of me as a beer lover. Thank you 🙏

Finland🇫🇮 / KARHU
January 5, 2025
From January 1st to 4th, my family and I went on a trip to Finland. We left Rovaniemi airport and went to Santa Village where we could meet the real Santa. Santa Village was a frigid world in the Arctic Circle, with temperatures of around minus 20 degrees.

What I encountered on this trip was,KARHU"Karhu" is a Finnish beer. KARHU is a lager beer with a good balance of hop flavor and malt sweetness, and its alcohol content is low at about 4.61 TP3T, making it very easy to drink.
The brand name means "bear" in Finnish, and the packaging has an illustration of a bear on it, so it stood out in the beer section of the supermarket.
Alcohol taxes are high in Finland, so the price was on the high side at around 3 euros, but if you ever go to Finland, be sure to give it a try!
